Early/Phase One treatment typically begins around age eight or nine. The goal of early treatment is to correct the growth of the jaw and certain bite problems, such as an underbite. Early treatment can also help make room for permanent teeth to come in properly, lessening the chance of extractions of permanent teeth in the future.

If you need surgical orthodontics, your orthodontist will work with an oral and maxillofacial surgeon to ensure you receive the best care possible.
Retainers
Retainers may be removable or fixed. They hold your teeth in their new, correct positions after your teeth have been straightened. Dr. Kawata and Dr. Allie will instruct you on how to care for your retainer and about the duration of wear. Wearing your retainer as directed is crucial to prevent relapse of your treatment.

An iTero scanner replaces the need for traditional dental impressions. By using a handheld wand, this scanner captures precise 3D images of your teeth and gums. This improves patient comfort, reduces chair time, and enhances treatment outcomes with precise and detailed digital models.
